An ancient man sat on a warm flat rock in the middle of a simple green field, nestled in a valley somewhere, a small gathering arrayed before him. He was no king, no wise master, indeed his clothing wasn't ragged, but neither was it fine. It was simple, baggy trousers that could best be described as 'comfortable' with a shirt to match and a vest over that. Gathered around him was a aging traveling cloak, frayed at the bottom. On his head a wide brimmed hat with a low crown, with various charms and trinkets sewn in where crown met brim, including a long peacock feather fastened by an simple knot-work broach.  He leaned against the gnarled walking stick in his hands, an unlit pipe sat in his lap.

Where this was, didn't matter, nor when nor even why. Though his name, no matter where, no matter when, no matter why, always mattered.

"Hm, well, where did I leave off lil darlin's," the ancient drawled as he looked about in thought, "ya know, a story, a good story, never do start where it begins." his voice was raspy, or maybe gravely was the better word for a voice like his.  Despite that, it was warm, rich and traveled. "We do be gettin' hung up on how those stories do be startin' tho don't we? Or we get hung up on how those stories be endin'.  Now me, I likes the middle. Those be the hardest parts, gettin' through the story. Anyone can start a thing, anyone can be at the end of a thing. But being there through the middle?  That be the true challenge."

"AHA!" he shouted and clapped his hands, a chuckle escaping him even as the the walking stick slipped from his hands and knocked his hat askew as it slipped to the ground. It seemed to cover his face at just the right angle to be a little rakish, a little mysterious. His smile was certainly an enigma.

"I do be rememberin' now lil darlin's. This be a story, like many a story, o' destiny. O' adventure beyond what be known by the people in it. The best o' tales be about discovery, the self, a thing a place, this one be no exception. This story, it has no beginning I know, and not even I know where it ends, for it be still goin' on lil darlin's, it still be goin' on."
"So sit there, lend me no ears but yo' hearts, and do be set to listenin'. Ole Talespinner has this tale to spin..."

Hello!  Welcome welcome, get comfortable and have a read.  Here you'll find the things I've written, either in full (as much as possible) or in part such as a preview of something I'm working on.  I wouldn't call this a portfolio as it stands now, as it is a sampling and a way to keep myself organized.  Here you'll find information and stories revolving around my settings, my R.P.G material, and on occasion pictures I've taken or created.  I'm not an artist but I may post up rough concept sketches or 3d creations from when I used to do that.
Bare with me as I renovate this blog thing and I hope you enjoy, and if you feel like saying hello, please do so!
